Langar to Alichur, (1/X); 29th June

29th June

In the morning we went back to the hot spring. The men’s bath was outside this time, so I took the opportunity to take some pictures when the bath was empty.

We said goodbye to the family, and made our way down the steep hill to the road. The rest was an easy day to Langar, where we stayed at a hostel.
Met a hitchhiker, Matteage, from Slovenia, who is travelling around Central Asia. He mentioned he was to climb up Engels Meadow the following day, but was feeling unwell, possibly from altitude sickness, so may skip it.

I had read about the walk to the meadow, and realised it was in Jan Bakker’s guidebook about trekking in Tajikistan. MayLyn and I decided to do the walk instead of cycling.
