Khalai Khumb to Khorog (3/X); 19th June

19th June

I didn’t feel fully rested even after a good night’s sleep. After some umming and ahhing, we decided to stay another night at the homestay.
I spent most of the day in the tent, drifting in and out of sleep, listening to Gary Stevenson’s audiobook ‘The Trading Game’. I finished it that day and really enjoyed it. Gary himself narrated it, and it’s worth listening to just for his impersonations of his Australian, American and Japanese colleagues.

the grandad gifted us some cherries from their garden. Very sweet.
