Jalal-Abad to Naryn, (6/6); 25th July

25th July

Very flat day into Naryn. Filled up water at a pump in the morning, then long dry day of cycling.

I thought this abandoned bus stop was quite interesting. I assume it's from the Soviet times. The theme is peace, with father and son standing in between what looks like railway tracks (indicating technological progress?), surrounded by saplings (again peace), and doves

Naryn is at a crossroads between several tourists spots — looking at the map, it has Song Kul to its west, Issyk Kul to the north, the Tian Shen mountains to the east and Rash Rabat to the south. This means there’s several guest houses and a quite a few tourists too.

We had a large pizza in the evening and just relaxing in the hotel, needed after a hard few days.
