Best route in Bulgaria
For a few days I headed North along the Black Sea.
After a quick stop at the historic settlement of Nessebar, I headed inland for 2 days, reaching the village of Madara. It was easier to find quiet paved roads than along the coast, but it was far from perfect.
From Madara I had one excellent day: An easy ride to Isperiph followed by tour of the extraordinary Sveshtari tombs.
