DAY 12 - BATTERY PROVINCIAL PARK - ST. PETERS
Day 12 - Battery Provincial Park is the goal: Click Here
GPS says 43 miles for a car and 300 for a bicycle. The Canso Causeway seems to be the stumbling block. Well, we will see tomorrow. I'll hitch across if I can't ride....the journey must go on!

Got over the Canso Causeway in good shape, lucky it was Sunday I think. Visitor Ctr stop for map and info. Recommendation take HWY 104 39 km to Peters. No services after leaving town - Port Hawkesbury - that's nothing new right. Crap food at McDonalds and onward. 1 pm reached Louisdale.
104 was pretty nice scenic and shoulders. Light traffic too, surprise.
2:30 pm arrived in St. Peters village - 8 minutes from the Park. It felt like a long way, but really wasn't bad. HWY 104 kept a good shoulder until it ended outside St. Peters, then fend for yourself. Motorist were nice.
A lot services here so....might come back out of park later.
It is cool, you can see Jerome Point Lighthouse at Battery Provincial Park as you enter town. Click Link
Site #3 overlooks the St. Peters Bay; overcast today, but still wonderful.
