Albi

Today was a day off the bike. But it wasn't planned that way. We booked two nights in Albi so we could do an out and back along the Gorges du Tarn. Today it seems wiser to try to nip my infection whatever it is in the bud. So it is a day of walking and resting in a pretty and interesting town. We like our hotel, too, and the only downside of our day here is that the wifi connection is so miserable. I spend a lot of time trying to post pictures that won't upload. Progress on my journal is again thwarted.

As I write this, we are no longer in Albi, and I have a better wifi connection. So without further ado, here are my pictures from our stroll around town. You could easily spend more time in Albi, ours is a superficial visit, but rest is on the agenda.

Tonight's meal is at the Petit Bouchon. The dog at the bar is an interesting touch.
