Redortiere rest day
We took advantage of the sunny morning to visit the Chateau farm with its 400 milk cows and a small cheese production. The farmer took time from making silage to show us around; some of the buildings have materials and styles dating from the 1700s but they are now planning to build a state-of-art milking facility. Otherwise it was a rest day to do laundry, re-organize the bags and enjoy the luxury of being inside listening to the afternoon rain.
