France Arrival

We arrived in Lyon on Sunday 13 May in cool, rainy weather which continued the next day as we drove to the village of Andlau in the region of the Alsace where we will spend the next 10 days. I had an issue with the hotel in Lyon not wanting to store my bike box but I managed to solve the problem by contacting the hotel where our tours will end and they agreed to store it. Lesson learned don’t assume a hotel will store a bike box even when they have done it in the past.
For the past few days we have dealt with more rain so still not riding but I am determined to get out tomorrow for a nice loop around Andlau.

At our first but not wine tasting at the Wach winery in Andlau. They have wonderful Alsatian Riesling and Crémant.
