Unity, OR - Vale, OR: Out of the mountains for now.
This is the only county in Oregon to be on Mountain Time. I had been using the birds for a wake up call. All through Oregon the birds woke up at 4:30. The Mountain Time birds were lazy and didn't get up until 5:30. : ) There went my 'alarm clock'.
Jacinto was determined that this place had to be open because there was a lit neon sign in the window - OPEN. Looking inside it had months and months of dust. We were SO hoping for a cold drink - but it wasn't going to happen here.
