Not much snow at the moment at the top of the pass.

This La Pine grocery store employee was most interested in our bikes and our trip. He had done a cross country bicycle trip as a young man.

This was a huge campground. We did not stay in the overgrown field that was designated as tent camping. It was far away from the bathrooms and did not have picnic tables. Instead we chose one of the many empty RV sites. I was very concerned about being in the wrong place, but no one came and kicked us out.
