Day 81: Obatanga Provincial Park to Lake Superior Provincial Park

The skies were grey I when woke up and they stayed that way all day. There was a strong headwind all day. When I arrived at the campground for the night the forecast had a heavy wind warning. Thankfully, I was often protected from the wind by hills or trees or cliffs. It rained for a few minutes today. When I spoke to someone at the campground they said they had come through a heavy storm, so I got off easy. The roads were up and down all day, but the only real climb was into Wawa.

I stayed at Lake Superior Provincial Park - Agawa Bay Campground ($36.75).

There was a tandem headed the other way just outside of Wawa. They were riding under the banner of 'Cyclebetes' along with a support van.

Wawa and the Trans-Canada Highway story. As you may have guessed, I am a sucker for historical signs.
