Day 106: Sussex to Cap Pele
It started out cool (5 degrees C) with fog in places, but the fog burned off and it warmed up nicely. The tailwind made the cycling easy. The shoulders were good when needed (except for about 5 km on Hwy 1. The roads were quite busy in Moncton with no shoulders or bike lanes. It was a relief to get out of town.
I stayed at the Silver Sands Campground ($18). I searched it out as it was recommended in a Crazy Guy journal. They treated me well.

There was a big bonfire at the campground in the evening, and I visited with Richard (the owner), Vic & Linda and Ken & Linda and their grandkids Michaille and Brittany.
If you look closely, you can see Confederation Bridge from the campground. It is about 40 km away.
