Day 101: Levis to Riviere du Loup

Although the cycling was pretty ugly today, it was a big day nevertheless. It rained off and on all day and the roads were wet. Mercifully, there was a tailwind. I tried taking the Route Verte at a couple of points. However, it the path was made from crushed gravel. The rain made it soft and slowed progress enough that I mostly stuck to the roads.

I made it to Riviere du Loup just before the tourist information centre closed. The lady was able to give me directions to the hostel and advice for leaving town tomorrow.

I stayed at Riviere du Loup Hostel in a private room ($52).

I am hoping to be able to make it to Edmnuston NB tomorrow. The weather forecast is for more showers tomorrow.
