Siem Reap - Templing Day Four
Banteay Srei is 35 kilometers from the Two Dragons but we had never seen it before and it is considered one of the most beautiful temples in the Angkorian complex. It certainly didn't disappoint us. It has the most exquisite carved rose-coloured sandstone and has a very pretty setting amongst tall Dipterocarpus trees.
On the way back we stopped off at the Cambodian Landmine Museum. With an intersting history (and present) and a tasteful audio tour it is well worth the stop and the $5 entrance fee.
