We caught a bus into Fremantle station the the train to Perth. It was a miserable, showery and cloudy day but ok to walk around a few streets of Perth. Perth is just like any other city really.

Here are some snaps of our walk ...

The Bells - they were constantly ringing as it was practice day

can't go and see them practising but you can watch the live video of them. All Volunteers

From the Bell Tower you get a view of the Supreme Court Gardens

So we walked over to the gardens to the front of the Supreme Court

And just around the corner was the govenor general of WA house

Heading back into town and came across this ....

Somewhat tacky and a bit weird but being this style which is not within the time frame of Australia when settled by convicts and English.

tudor style - alot of shops were empty and they were so tiny inside

There is another image below but we had to go to get the train so didn't have time to walk over and get a good photo of it.

Perth itself is not a place I would go back and visit, although we did miss the Kings Gardens but that is ok - a city is not my cup of tea!
