Last night's lodging was a converted convent. They did a nice job but came up short. It took forever for hot water to get to the room, wifi was spotty in the rooms and they had stuff plugged in to every receptacle.

We are at another converted convent tonight, but they did all the right things. It is a nice place, except the restaurant does not open until 8:30 for dinner.  I understand that they are connected- same owners maybe.

It started out cool and we got some miles in before it got hot. The vegetation has changed some and it is slightly less arid looking. Lunch was at 1:15 today but then it ended up being a long time before we got going again because one bike had problems.

Christy HoffWas one of these your bikes? Such a great trip! It sounds like the tour company was pretty good. Look forward to hearing more about your experience.

It was great riding as several times we got a group of 6 to 8 riding together.
