5. 6/3/23 Rest day (huh?)

A rest day on day 2?? Well you might ask....We came to Oberlin to see friends and for Ken to visit with former professors at Oberlin so we are spending a second night here. Ken toured the campus, Francie toured the small town, chatted with friends at dinner and getting ready for tomorrow's adventure.

Ken, Eleanor Klosterman, Tom Klosterman, Francie

These three have a connection to the University of Chicago Medical School. Janet was the main lab technician for the medical school Dean where Ken and Tom were students. They didn't overlap at the university but had fun tonight sharing memories of Dean Ceithaml.

I'm impressed by your organization skills; you have had lots of practice! The photos of Ohio in June are beautiful. Nice to see after weeks of rain in Colorado. Hope you have great weather!

Francie GassThank you, Anne. It has taken a lot of organization...stressful and fun at the same time.
Today, June 7, we are a little worried about air quality and hope it rains tomorrow on our day off! Hope YOUR rain stops!

Julie GassTo Francie GassWe just got home from Scotland last night and I've been catching up on your journey. I am so impressed with both of you. You're stamina is amazing.
