My legs felt good after the rest day. Rain was forecast for the afternoon so I kept it moving and arrived at camp at 1:30. The ride through Panama Beach was a little unpleasant as we were on busy roads. Once out to Panama Beach there was a bike path. However, it was rough and crossed a lot of driveways. So, it didn't seem particular safe and wasn't pleasant. It also crossed a number of boardwalks made of plastic wood. Since it was starting to sprinkle, I was very careful as those can be very slippery.

Due to a snafu in the reservation, I couldn’t set up my tent. I had to cook, so didn’t get to set up until after shopping. So, of course it was raining. We made burritos for dinner, and I cooked some hard boiled eggs for the next morning after the map meeting. So, I didn't get done and to bed until late. It is supposed to rain all night but stop by morning and be 55 at 8 am.

Today's ride: 72 miles (116 km)
Total: 419 miles (674 km)
