Day 28: Sabbath Day 4

Today is a rest day in Austin. I don't plan to do anything but perhaps go to a bike store and back to REI. There is a lot of nice stuff to do in Austin, but I think I need the rest. I rolled out my legs but didn't stretch before bed. I didn't get to bed (a real one with sheets) until 11:30, but didn't wake up even to go to the bathroom until 4:00, which is kind of amazing. I usually wake up every 2 hours in my tent. I took a melatonin to help get back to sleep and slept until 4:00. My sleep score was 83 and my body battery was charged to 91. I plan to take a nap when I am done this journal and it should definitely be 100 by tomorrow morning.

I ate oatmeal with blueberries, raisins and walnuts for breakfast. I did some stuff for Rapid this morning and started looking at my taxes. I might work on them later today if I have nothing else to do. I think I am going to change one tire on my bike. The front has 25 mm tires and I'd like to put on a 28. The rear one has a 28 mm tire and the wear spots visible. It will probably last the rest of the trip. If I fail I can take it to a bike shop and see if they can get it seated. I will also wax the chain. I don't think it needs it, but will do it just in case and because it will have a good amount of time to dry.
