La Breuil to Chatelaillon-Plage: Just a great day of cycling in France

This morning Christian escorted us out into the fog for the first 32 kilometers, then we said our sad goodbyes. It was a great day on the bike, with perfect weather, great roads, and only a wee bit lost. Cities remain a problem to get through, or around, and La Rochelle , was no exception. We arrived in Chatelaillion-Page around 3:30, and it looked so beautiful. We found a hotel on the beach, and called it a day. The first thing we did was go for a swim in the Atlantic. The water was warm, and the beach is beautiful, and not crowded. It was so refreshing! In the evening we went for a walk along the beach, and then had a wonderful seafood dinner, watching the sunset. Not a bad ending to a great day!
