Today we woke to fog, which is the first day without brilliant sun in a month, so we have been really fortunate. Actually, the fog gave the mountains a kind of a mystical look, and some cooler air was welcoming.We took a drive today to San Sebastian, Spain. Rather than take the freeway, we took a small, very windy road up into the mountains. The views would have been much more spectacular, without the fog, but it was still very beautiful. San Sebastián is a very beautiful, old city on the sea. One of the first things we did was seek out a tapas bar for lunch. Awesome!After we returned to St-Jean-du-Luz, I walked into town and enjoyed shopping in the crowded, narrow streets. No shopping bags for me, though. It all has to fit on the bike.We later had pizza in town , and then home to bed.
