Langtry Tx to Del Rio, Tx
Mileage - 59.55 Elevation: 2290 ft gained Winds: varied
Got up and left Langtry early as we had a long day ahead. The weather was warm and comfortable. It was a scenic trip as we passed over both the Peco's River and the Amistad Reservoir both long and high bridges, Jeff chose to ride across with the SAG bus and he and George drove slowly behind us riders with flashers going as we decided this was the safest way to approach the crossing of both bridges.

A picnic lunch on the bus with George helped with the long day. Hills were a challenge but everyone managed to climb all of them. Road surfaces make a difference and the last 10 miles into Del Rio had newly paved shoulders which made the job of finishing the ride enjoyable. We treated ourselves to a dinner of Vietnamese cuisine, and yes even Jeff found something on the menu.
