Day 10
Stanfield Az to Picacho Peak State Park
we left the Wild West campsite early morning. Cool 40 degree start to the day but it warmed up nicely. Roadways were good with moderate to light traffic. Unfortunately roadwork detoured us an additional 5 miles at the end of our days ride. Only minor mishaps, like Donna picking up wire from the road that wound around the spokes. Tim was able to rectify the issue. George had some trouble with the motor home voltage regulator but he is working around it while searching for a new one. Lunch was at the Tumbleweed Inn. Maggie thinks it was the most redneck bar she’d been in Jeff had a legal weed wrap, you decide. Had a stiff climb up to the campsite ,a beautiful vista greeted us. We set up camp made some dinner , listened to a bagpiper salute the sunset and turned in early. A good day.
