Why????
When we tell family and friends that we are cycling, self guided from Donaueschingen to Budapest, we often get asked "why"? It all started when we decided to get back into cycling a year or so ago. After some uncomfortable experiences in heavy traffic, we decided to take a two day course on bike safety. Many of the experienced cyclists in the group had done a fair amount of touring, and when I asked what there favourite tour was, the resounding response was The Danube Trail. "We can do that!" So here we are with just over two weeks to go before we leave on our big adventure.
