Off to the Casblanca Valley: Wine, wine, wine
Again this AM the weather in Viña del Mar/Valparaiso was less than desirable so we were happy with our decision to leave. We drove to the Casablanca valley known for its white wine and Pinot Noirs. We stopped at the Indomita winery since it was highly recommended to us. It is an amazing property in a beautiful setting. We tried a few wines including some bubbles. We decided to stay for lunch which for me was a very large piece of beef and pork ribs for Patti. After another winery visit we headed to our lodging for the night which was a very quaint boutique hotel, that we had to ourselves and was complete with a sauna, a wood fired hot tub and a pool with red walls so it looks like you are a swimming in Pinot Noir. It resembles a beautiful hacienda, a gorgeous retreat.
