I JUST booked the new flights eleven months to the date after having abruptly ended our trip in 2010.

So, we're back on track. I think every day for the past year my self-diagnosed ADD has been bugging me to return and finish what we started.

In early April we'll be driving to Toronto then flying to Varadero before lugging our bikes on a bus/taxi/van back to Las Terrazas. We liked the hotel last year so figured we'd back up one day before heading westwards towards Vinales. As previous, we will be following Smith & Smith from Soroa along their Skyline Drive which apparently is an awesome ride to San Diego de los Banos and finally on to Vinales. Since we are not cycling from Jibacoa this time, we'll then use Vinales as our base to ride that area or the north to Puerto Esperanza and maybe south to Pinar city.
