Apr 22 - A Little Run into Arcos de Canasi: The Village that Started us on our Missions of Giving
BEING OUR last day with the bikes we decided to ride to Canasi to drop a few last things - pens to the school. It was closed for the week so we found the director;s house and dropped them there.
Then we did 'People of Canasi' with the camera. I asked an old man on the street and a few kids if I could take their photograph - all said ok and I think I got some people 'caught' on the camera.

It started to get warm so we headed back toward the hotel with a stop at Josbany's family's house. He offered us some fresh pineapple juice, we chatted with everyone then sadly left, not sure when the next time would be that we would see our Cuban family.
Once back at the hotel, I decided I had best start packing the bikes. I ended up getting both into their boxes to keep tomorrow's work to a minimum. When I had had enough I headed to the pool for a swim and a few drinks with MA.
For supper we let our friends know we wanted to eat alone since we're near the end of our great trip.
At the show, we were able to chat with Ricky and his wife and say good bye to them. Afterwards we went up to the piano bar since we'd not yet been there. It was a short time, but quite nice and relaxing.
Today's ride: 18 km (11 miles)
Total: 392 km (243 miles)
