Hotel Breezes Jibacoa, CUC$184 (all-inclusive)

THOUGH WE didn't have to go anywhere, we were us fairly early for breakfast. Nelsito remembered us at the breakfast bar, as did other staff.

We did not do much today, but we snorkeled a bit in the morning - I took a water bottle with bread which really attracted the fish. In the afternoon I took a bike ride to the Cuban family's where we chatted a bit then came down to the road where Josbany has built a little snack bar by the road.

It was pretty hot so I returned to the hotel so I could continue to read Wilbur Smith. We met up with Guy and Lise Gaudreau from Aylmer/Fauquier and had supper with them before heading to the couples' show.

After the show we didn't linger long but returned to the room where I found that Lewis Hamilton had won the Chinese F1 race this morning.
