Now in San José

We arrived on time last night after a pleasant flight from Toronto. It was almost 11PM by the time we reached the hotel so off to bed we went. Today we took it easy just checking out a local mall after breakfast before we changed hotels into the city proper. We got SIM cards for our phones and decided to get a little local currency just to make small purchases easier. You feel rich when you get 100,000 colones for $200. We changed hotels in the early afternoon to be closer to the centre and while so doing a rain storm started. I did not know that October is one of the rainiest months in Costa Rica so I guess we are going to get wet.

I booked a room on the club floor since we are here for 4 days. There is happy hour with lovely snacks, wine & beer.
