Today marks the anniversary of the dreadful Shanghai lockdown.  There isn't must to say about that dark history because everything has been documented here already in great detail.  It doesn't feel like a year ago, but it feels like a whole other world.  

Life events conspired nicely over the past month to bring closure to a difficult winter break trip and help direct the future trip for the upcoming summer break.  The planning is coming along nicely.
