Day 15 Mornington to home
The next morning the tents were dripping wet again but this was due to the dew and not rain. We packed and turned onto the Nepean Highway for the run down to Frankston. The morning traffic was heavy but there was a bike lane most of the way until we reached Olivers Hill which we descended with care. We continued along the Beach Road until we reached Carrum where we turned onto the familiar bike path to Dandenong with a light southerly behind us. At Dandenong we stopped at KBTC's usually coffee stop at the Lebanese Bakery. Mike P then headed for Hallam and home and I continued through Jells Park to Vermont South Shopping Centre where I said G'day to Noel who has a locksmith business there and then to home.
Total distance 1,249km and a daily average of about 90 km, a couple of 120km day rides.
