We accomplished nearly 68 miles in increasingly crappy weather. Lots and lots and lots of US2 hwy. we stopped for food at a pastie shop where I had my first taste of an Upper Peninsula specialty. About 20 miles short of our destination for today, when thunder and lightning were witnessed, and since the weather will continue to be like this until like 6 pm, and since our only road is heavily trafficked, we decided wisdom is the better part of valor. We called Loretta for a pick up at Gustafson’s Smoked Fish. Not too many pictures today. Exciting news is tomorrow we leave the UP. And take the bridge to Lower Michigan.
