Frankfort to Pentwater
Day 11

Hillier than the day before, including a few montsters. I managed to ride them all though! So did the rest of our group. Sunny and dry today. Little bit of Canadian wildfire air. Not bad though. We’ve been more consistent about stopping every ten miles to drink water and take a break, which is increasingly important now that we are seeing hotter daytime temps. We are camping in sand (a first for me!) at Mears Park. Sharing some photos from todays ride. One is from the morning mist near our lodge in Frankfort. And another is a high view after one of our longer climbs on the bike. Loretta looks happy with herself as she should be! She tackled those hills like a pro. Also, we saw a lavender field along our route today.
Today's ride: 75 miles (121 km)
Total: 708 miles (1,139 km)
