The Both Sides of Paradise Film Festival

Dear little friends,

As we rolled along on through Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, we took quite a bit of video footage and oh so many hundreds and hundreds of photos. It was a very rainy winter here in Oregon, and after chaining myself to the computer for much of it, the result is three travelogue videos from our trip. They range from 20-30 minutes apiece so you'll want to make a pot of coffee and a big bowl of popcorn first.

It's been a busy and interesting year since we took this trip, yet every time we watch one of these videos, read our own journal (yes, we do that) or look at the photos that rotate across the computer screen ("Where was that?" Oh, yeah, I can't believe we did that!") we feel the urge to get back in the saddle and go again, somewhere, anywhere, we don't know where yet. Airfares for next winter are looking quite low, and just in the past few days our fingers have hovered perilously close over the "buy now" button several times.

Apparently paradise isn't done with us quite yet. Stay tuned.

Jen RahnWe just finished the last of the film festival videos and loved them all! What a treat to re-visit the highlights of your journal and to catch a glimpse of your 3D experience and the beautiful and interesting soundtrack.

Thanks for all of the time and effort you put into the journal and videos and for your willingness to share your stories.

Can't wait to follow your next adventure, closer to real time!!

Jen RahnI just asked Ron, "Will you go to Thailand with me?"

And he said, "Yeah."

Would love for you two to help us plan and maybe even meet up in a place or 2?
