A few photos of things on Koh Chang Beach, Thailand

Tiny sand bubbler crabs make these balls. Very speedily they grab grains of sand and run them through their mouths extracting nutrients. Saliva is added during the extraction process which makes the grains of sand stick together. When the balls are too big for the crabs to handle they flip them over their shoulders. They do this process over and over very quickly because they know they have only a certain amount of time before the tide comes back in.
