Some of the Top 100 Things Not to do With Electricity
I may or may not finish translating this list at a later date. Yes, this is the order the items were in.

- DON'T climb electric poles, transformers or electric towers
- DON'T install unstable power lines or power poles.
- DON'T allow children to play with lightbulbs, switches, or power outlets
- DON'T throw items on or near transformers or power lines
- DON'T grab birds' nests which have been built on power poles
- DON'T use hunting guns, air rifles, or slingshots to take shots at power lines or ceramic insulators
- DON'T use lightbulbs to make a warm environment for raising fingerlings or incubating chicks.
- When passing under powerlines, drivers of horse drawn carts SHOULD NOT whip the horse.
- Car drivers SHOULD NOT drive into power poles or electric lines
- DON'T use power poles or electric lines as the anchor point to tie up livestock
- When laying power line, DON'T forget to put up a safety perimeter
- Underneath high voltage power lines it is FORBIDDEN to build houses, dig wells, plant trees, thresh grain, pile things, weeds, grow vines or do any agricultural activities which involve tall items
- Underneath both high and low voltage power lines it is FORBIDDEN to randomly set up weak voltage lines (such as phone lines or broadcast lines)
- In the near vicinity of electric line poles, it is FORBIDDEN to dig wells, cut trees, install television antennas, build houses or do any activity which involves tall metal objects or tall trees which might fall and strike the pole
- DON'T dig for gravel, set off explosives, set off firecrackers, set off fireworks, fly kites, hunt birds in the near vicinity of electric lines
- DON'T show movies or put on stage plays underneath power lines and in the near vicinity of electric equipment
- DON'T plant trees on the electricity transmission route. Trees CANNOT rub against or come into close contact with electric lines.
- In a thunderstorm, DON'T get too close to large trees, power poles, power lines, or lightning rods
- In order to avoid running into fallen power lines DON'T go outside in extremely windy or rainy conditions
- DON'T pick up power lines that have fallen on the ground
- DON'T jump over power lines that are low to the ground
- After extremely windy or rainy conditions, DON'T check to see if power transmission lines or house lines have power (during weather conditions, electricians should turn off the low voltage grid)
- DON'T put metal clotheslines near a power line
- DON'T dry clothing or hang items on power lines
- DON'T use wet hands to touch electric light sockets, on/off switches, electric sockets, buttons, or any other electric components
- DON'T use your bare hands to touch the metal parts of light sockets, on/off switches, or electric sockets
- DON'T change lightbulbs unless you've turned the power off first
- DON'T plug a power cord into a light socket
- DON'T use overly long cables for light sockets nor pull the light socket cable here and there and DON'T use a lightbulb as a handheld light
- DON'T use screw-in light fixtures outdoors. DON'T attach live wires to screw-in light fixtures
- DON'T put paper shades over light fixtures nor obstruct lightbulbs with paper or fabric coverings. Also, DON'T place lightbulbs on inflammable cotton clothing or bedding
- DON'T use live trees as electric poles or put lightbulbs in trees
- DON'T wrap electric wire around power poles, trees, or spikes
- DON'T install "one line one location" lighting
- DON'T use uninsulated pliers or snips to cut live wires
- DON'T use medical tape or other ordinary tapes to wrap the ends of wires
- DON'T forget to insulate the ends of live wires and leave them as bare metal
- When circuit breakers, power sockets, lights, power meters are being connected to the mains, DON'T leave the connecting wire as bare metal
- DON'T install lighting wires in such a way that they come into contact with door or window curtains
- DON'T install electric wires, circuit breakers, or power sockets near fire, heat sources, or cisterns
- DON'T use couplers or connectors on lead wires
- DON'T use electricity to start fires
- DON'T have an on/off switch controlling the zero wire
- DON'T insert things directly into the end of a live wire (instead, you should install an outlet)
- DON'T insert wires directly into a power outlet (instead, you should use a plug)
- DON'T use electrical equipment that has gotten wet
- DON'T use switches, wires, lights, power outlets, or plugs that have gotten old and battered and no longer meet safety standards
- DON'T use switches, outlets, or lights that cannot be fixed in place
- Customers are NOT ALLOWED to mess with wires or power meters
- DON'T steal electricity via any means
- DON'T use a handheld electric drill without wearing insulated gloves
- DON'T use your bare hands or random metal objects to test whether or not something has electricity
- If you aren't certain whether something is electrified or not electrified, you should use test equipment to check if it is electrified, DON'T just brush up against it without care
- DON'T use two phase switches on three phase electric sources
- DON'T install non-rubberized circuit breakers or switches on electrical equipment
- DON'T install metal shelled switches or circuit breakers which do not have a ground line
- DON'T use water pumps or home electrical goods which do not have a ground connection
- DON'T use bronze, aluminum, or other metallic wires as your safety line
- DON'T use water pumps or threshing machines which are leaking electricity
- When electrical machinery is operating, DON'T get too close, DON'T wipe the outer case clean, DON'T use it to warm clothing
- DON'T use electrical machinery that doesn't have a control box
- DON'T randomly pull out, disassemble, or connect the wires on electrical equipment
- DON'T use bare lead lines, broadcast lines, phone lines or chicken wire as the line for connecting a household, lighting, or a facility to the mains.
- DON'T use ordinary materials as underground wires
- Even when insulated, DON'T allow live wires to run along the ground or through water
