Day 115: Stoney’s Campground to Stysh’s Brown Barn Campground, Boonville

Stoney’s Campground where I stayed last night. Like a lot of the campgrounds in this area, their busy season seems to be just starting with the salmon run up the Salmon River from Lake Ontario

I’m not the only one using outdated technology to move around! There is a sizeable Amish population in western New York that gets around using horses and carriages

I’m a big fan of public libraries. This is one of the most impressive I’ve come across on this trip, in Boonville, NY. The librarian was excited to be asked about the building - “Isn’t it great? I get to come to work in a castle every day!”
