Today was put bikes back together day. We had a great  buffet breakfast and only 2 more of those until powder milk and whatever we can fit on the bikes. The rebuild started off great ,, David’s bike was easy not his first rideo, just a small issue with the back brake cable. 
Now my bike was a different story. Tip 101… practice practice practice. We had a bit of an issue getting my front tire on… duhhhh should have figured that from the tough time we had getting it off to pack it in a box. David did a great job of making sure we labeled everything correctly.

We ended up going to a bicycle repair store to get the brake cables and using a rubber mallet to get my front wheel on. 

With that done we did a nice ride to grab dinner and test out the swytch bike assist. It works awesome. The mountain roads will be a breeze now, only 15 per battery so use sparingly.

it was great to get on 2 wheels again I didn’t do a lot of pre-trip riding so it will be interesting how the first big riding day goes. 

So lessons learned more practice on assembly of bike beforehand and plan plan plan. Thank god David has done this before he said I’m learning… still a bit high maintenance… just wait for the first tent and sleeping bag night. 

2 more real bed sleeps !!!!

Great day overall ended on a high !! Even losing at ping pong was okay.
