Vancouver: Day 1 of the Canada 150 cycle event

Our full group of 18 riders split into two smaller groups to ride two different disTances. The short group rode 61km while the long group rode 85km. We all started at the hotel, toured Stanley Park and rode across the Lions Gate bridge. However the longer group rode all the way to and from Horseshoe Bay. We had a spectacular weather for our ride which was also uneventful except for a couple of flats. My distance was longer because I rode to and from my accommodation to the group's hotel.

A group photo before we started out this morning.
