Penticton: Wine country

This morning we checked out the first part of the route that goes uphill less than a km from the start. We also rode the portion that comes back into town. This was a nice spin of the legs before the big day tomorrow. Sadly there is a major forest fire NW of here so there is quite a bit of smoke in the air. We are in no danger but breathing that air is not much fun. This area is wine and cherry country both of which are readily available at the moment and delicious.

At the start/finish line just before the little kids took to the streets. Great motto for this event.
