A Colourful Day Ride
From Wolli Creek to Woolloomooloo
Another day, another fun tour ride in Sydney. The weather was perfect but our route finding was less then perfect. “It’s not about the destination Dad. It’s about the journey”, my son reminded me as we lost the route several times.
The aim was to follow bikeways from Wolli Creek (near Sydney Airport) though to the CBD and onto the Royal Botanic Gardens.
We did eventually make it to the gardens after diversions to Bunnings, the Grounds of Alexandria and a wide sweep through South Sydney and Redfern.
The return ride was much more direct and fast as we’d learned the route on the way in.
