This first entry briefly describes what I'm doing.  This summer I'm bicycling across the country from Washington DC to San Francisco to address extreme symptoms of poverty, namely, homelessness and hunger.  Along the way I'll assist those in need, donate to selected local organizations, and lobby local leaders.  In other words, I'll be pedaling to eradicate poverty through offering assistance, increasing awareness, and engaging in advocacy (AAA).
