Thursday in Ljubljana

Today we managed to get out of the house early enough to walk up to the cafe at the top of the Tivoli park. We borrowed a back carrier from Rohan and Max so we could move at a reasonable pace. It was a beautiful sunny day again. We had a pretty good lunch up there then gave Tobias the option to sleep in the backpack or wait the 45 minutes to get home. He's pretty stubborn so he stayed up the whole way back.

In the afternoon we went to a brew pub and then stopped for falafel on the way home. It was the kind of warm sunny evening with everyone sitting out on terraces that reminded me why we wanted to come back and spend the summer in Europe doing this trip.
