Aix-en-Provence
We had a hot lazy day today. After calling my family in the morning we biked up the hill and into the town for a look around. We parked the bikes near the market then walked through the pretty little streets to find a busy cafe that James had found. We e finally stocked up on beans again. Tobias enjoyed the cobbled streets. He's still pretty stoic when he crashes, often to the surprise of onlookers. He rode around the big fountain at the center of a roundabout 3 times over.
After a nap (for all of us, did I mention it was hot?) we walked over the highway and down to a shady park by the river. I'm not sure if it was good for swimming, but Tobias stripped off to paddle in the water and we cooled our feet.
We managed to sort our route out for the next 3 weeks. We're heading north west to Avignon then up north towards Valence where we will switch to north east and head towards the Alps where we are meeting a big group of friends for 10 days to watch some stages of the tour de France.
