Happy Birthday
Cold rain shut down any cycle or outdoor fun today. No matter, because it was the day for two concurrent birthday parties. Amelia is 3 and I am a neat multiple of that, 66.

Sabrina casually displayed talent that no doubt could earn her lots of money - cake decoration. She could be thge new Cake Boss, but it's just a hobby. So this time, because Amelia loves mermaids, the cake had a marine flair. I am in there, but not on a bike. Sabrina judged that a bike would get too wet in this scenario.

We were joined the celebration by friends and neighbours. This included Jenn Quinn and Agnes, and 2 1/2 year old Elise. Agnes and Gael (who was at work) have been world travellersand would call Lyons, France home. Naturally the Grampies find that background very interesting.
Elise and Amelia, in turn, seemed to find baby Joey fascinating.
Mercifully, our cake only had the 3 single candles, best for Amelia. Any candle scheme for my age would need some sort of decimal system, with most candles standing for decades!
