Day 17-19: Wilderness

We needed a rest day. A few long days climbing over the mountain pass and we're not bike fit. We stopped in the backpackers at Wilderness. It was a cheap place to stay, and not so bad when we got upgraded to one of the log cabins to replace the cigarette smelling twin room we booked.

We stayed a day. To recover.

Then another because there was some rain coming.

Then another because when the rain came, it really did rain all day. Good excuse to catch up on a few blog posts, and we each read a book. Only significant activity was riding into town to get more food when we ran out.

Drinking hot chocolate, playing with phones, reading books and on this occasion looking at the weather report trying to decide if we brave the rain
