Day 65 - Ljubljana to Grosupljem
Ljubljana is very nice, as we now expected from the rest of Slovenia. Unique and beautiful, but also laid back, cool, and friendly. We arrived at a weekend that may also have been some other event(?) so it was really busy, and as a cost cutting measure we stayed in a "capsule" hostel for the first time. And probably the last time.

We did it! We left Ljubljana. I still wasn't feeling great but we didn't go very far.
Day 66 - Grosupljem to Skocjan
Today we decided to go further. A bit too far, really, for my weakened state. But we got there in the end. And despite the rain, relative cold, and even a puncture, and the fact we were following normal roads not the scenic route, to avoid mud and make the cycling easier, it was really, really, really beautiful!
We climbed gently through damp, mossy, mysterious forests, and descended on flowing, curving roads into extremely cute and prosperous little villages with fairytale churches, attractive, square, chalet style houses, and fascinating open-sided wooden barns, used as garages or to store wood for the winter.

Tomorrow I think we'll get to Croatia! We've actually spent a fair bit of time in Slovenia due to sickness, but are still a bit sad to be leaving. It might've overtaken Italy as favourite place so far, and we are definitely keen to come back another time!
Today's ride: 99 km (61 miles)
Total: 2,501 km (1,553 miles)
