Rest is an important part of exercise
Day 5 - Sarilla
Me and Sarah have used the title of this entry as an in-joke for some time. As people who do exercise, but spend more time not exercising. It's a fact: there's no point exercising in order to get fitter in some way, without proper nutrition and rest. But when you haven't done any exercise and you're sat on the sofa eating crisps...
Anyway, due do a few factors - nice cheap comfortable accommodation, Sarah still not feeling 100% rested, and the fact that her bike now needs some attention and the bike shop is here (excuses, excuses), we are taking a rest day. We need to be 100% for the climbs to come. Rest is an important part of exercise!
We have a room right by the river which is providing my favourite sound, a beautiful gentle calming burble of white noise. Can't get enough of it.
