Picking Raspberries and Shopping for Bug-Away Clothing
Our plans for another bike ride were sidelined when we woke at 6:30 in the morning to another thunderstorm. However, after a few hours the sun came out and we headed out on our tandem with Cora on her bike. Our plan was to ride to Limburg and on the way stop at a farm to pick raspberries. We had a glorious ride through gorgeous rolling farm land. We could smell the ripe raspberries as we approached the farm. Clara met us at the farm to help with the picking. After about 40 minutes we had picked two buckets full of delicious berries.

After picking raspberries, we continued our ride to Limburg. The iconic landmarks of the two Cathedrals and the River Lahn tell us that we are very close.
We went to a great outdoors store, Biwak, to shop for Bug-Away clothing. Two years ago in Italy we eaten alive by mosquitoes so this year we wanted to buy some clothing that would at least give us a fighting chance against mosquitoes and ticks.
Today's ride: 46 km (29 miles)
Total: 133 km (83 miles)
