To Lakeview Campground on Yarger Lake: mile post 1256.7
Patrick wakes up early and we are on the road early. The road continues more of the same, rolling and in some sections gravel.
We make it to the campground about 3pm. As we go in, we see bike tires on the dirt/gravel road. We find 2 guys one from New York, one from Canada doing a "short" trip from Whitehorse to Anchorage. We exchange information about the roads. They will be in Tok tomorrow and Patrick encourages them to stay at the Sourdough Campground, they had already heard of it.
Our site has a view of the lake and Wrangell-Elias Mountain Range. There are storm clouds growing making for a beautiful sky. We wash in the lake, the campground fills up. Dinner is the can of beef (from Argentina) with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Rachel retires early, Patrick stays up and visits with people in the campground.
